Origin
Moud Wool Rug 6.8x9.8 is a city located south of Mashad and Birdjan. Moud carpets often feature a Herati pattern, either with or without a central medallion. These rugs are renowned as some of Iran’s most stunning and intricate carpets. Furthermore, they add depth to a room, creating the illusion of more space, which is rare for such detailed designs.
Moud carpets stand out for their delicate wool pile woven onto a cotton base. Typically, these rugs come in medium to large sizes. The color palette includes deep blues, rich reds, and browns, all set against ivory backgrounds. As a result, Moud produces some of the most exquisite rugs on the market. Their consistent quality, combined with higher knot counts, enhances their appeal even more.
