Tabriz, in Iran’s northwestern region, is the country’s second-oldest city and has been at the heart of the rug-making industry for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Because of the sheer magnitude of the Tabriz rug industry, design and quality vary widely. It is one of the oldest rug weaving centres in the world, producing a wide range of carpets. Rug Description

• Beautiful hand knotted wool Tabriz has a red floral medallion on a midnight blue filed. The central blue & outer tan fields, as well as the red borders, have allover rich floral motifs.
• In terms of its grandeur and richness, this is a typical Tabriz rug. The size of this Tabriz Garden is 9.7 x 6.7 feet.
• The colours used for the thread are made from natural dyes that are extracted from vegetables.
• PCI count of the rug is 150 x 90.
