Abadeh is located midway between Shiraz and Isfahan. Originally, Abadeh rugs (Nomadic) had vases patterns and a limited palette of colors. The carpet had some problems staying on the market, so the weavers looked for new patterns. The Ghashghai nomads, who had summer pastures in the area, inspired them. The carpets have a red-brown color scheme with blue highlights, as well as medallions in the center and corners.
