- They say that regions around the city of Hamadan, are considered to be most unique & productive when it comes to making carpets in Persia. Nahavand is one of those regions and this is a truly unique tribal rug both in terms of its size and geometrical & abstract theme.
- The large abstract medallion on black field dominates the rug. The black field itself comes with all over abstract & floral motifs as well as different figurines of nomadic animals.
- The outer borders are in sync with the central medallion while the ivory white corners create a stunning contrast.
- These multiple themes in the rug make it a truly special tribal piece. The size of this Nahavand is 9.8 x 5.4 feet.
- The colours used for the thread are made from natural dyes that are extracted from vegetables.
- PSI count of the rug is 140 x 90.
